Amend HR 3 by striking Section 4.07(d) of Article 4, page 13, 
by striking lines 16-19 and substituting the following:
	(d)  An employee of an individual member, a committee 
employee, or any person, firm, or corporation employed by a 
committee or subcommittee may not be paid a salary in excess of 
$3,640 [$3,500] for any one month.  The house may not use other 
funds to compensate for an increase in salary under this 
subsection.
