Amend CSSB 7 on page 1, following line 34, to add a new 
Section 3 to read as follows and renumber subsequent sections:
	"SECTION 3.  The State Bar of Texas is authorized and 
instructed to conduct a study which shall detail the recognized 
rights afforded to married persons of the opposite sex which are not 
provided to or recognized for married persons of the same sex.  
Results of this study shall be delivered to every legislator on or 
before December 31, 2004."
