Amend SB 10 following SECTION 7 of the bill (page 8, between 
lines 16 and 17) by inserting the following new SECTION, 
appropriately numbered, and renumbering subsequent SECTIONS of the 
bill accordingly:
	SECTION 8.  Section 1(1), Article 21.53G, Insurance Code, is 
amended to read as follows:
		(1)  "Diabetes equipment" means:                                              
			(A)  blood glucose monitors, including 
noninvasive glucose monitors and monitors designed to be used by 
blind individuals;
			(B)  insulin pumps and associated appurtenances;                             
			(C)  insulin infusion devices; and                                           
			(D)  podiatric appliances for the prevention of 
complications associated with diabetes.
