System updates will be applied on February 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM. These updates will include changes to the user interface. Work is expected to take approximately 30 minutes to complete, during which the site will be unavailable.
Amend CSSB 155 (Senate committee printing) in SECTION 1 of
the bill by striking added Section 90.001(3), Parks and Wildlife
Code (page 1, lines 27-30), and substituting the following:
(3) "Protected freshwater area" means that portion of
the bed, bottom, or bank of the following rivers or streams where
the bed, bottom, or bank of the river or stream is within the
gradient boundaries of the river or stream, is at or above tidewater
limits, and is 30 feet or greater in width:
(A) Brazos River;
(B) Colorado River;
(C) Cypress Creek;
(D) Guadalupe River;
(E) Llano River;
(F) Neches River;
(G) Nueces River;
(H) Pecos River;
(I) Red River;
(J) Rio Grande;
(K) Sabine River;
(L) San Antonio River;
(M) San Jacinto River;
(N) Sulphur River; and
(O) Trinity River.
