Amend SB 160 (House Committee Report) as follows:                            

(1)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, in proposed Section 49.002, 	Health and Safety Code (page 1, line 7), insert the following new 
Subsection (a) and reletter subsequent subsections of that section 
accordingly:
	(a)  In this section, "coordinating board" means the Texas 
Higher Education Coordinating Board.
	(2)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, in proposed Section 49.002, 
Health and Safety Code (page 1, line 7 through page 2, line 1), 
strike "department" each place the word appears and substitute 
"coordinating board".
