Amend CSSB 282 by inserting a new SECTION 1 in the bill (page 
1, between lines 4 and 5, house committee printing) to read as 
follows, and by renumbering the SECTIONS of the bill appropriately:
	SECTION 1.  Subchapter A, Chapter 1301, Occupations Code, is 
amended by adding Section 1301.004 to read as follows:
	Sec. 1301.004.  APPLICATION OF CHAPTER TO CERTAIN COUNTIES.  
Notwithstanding this chapter or any other law, this chapter does 
not apply to a county with a population of 50,000 or less.
