Amend CSSB 473 as follows:                                                   

(1)  In SECTION 5 of the bill, in the introductory language 	(House Committee Printing, page 9, line 10), strike "20.11 and 
20.12" and substitute "20.11, 20.12, and 20.13".
	(2)  In SECTION 5 of the bill, immediately after proposed 
Section 20.12, Business & Commerce Code (House Committee Printing, 
page 9, between lines 26 and 27), add the following:
	Sec. 20.13.  VENUE.  An action brought under this chapter 
shall be filed in a district court in Travis County or:
		(1)  in any county in which the violation occurred; or                 
		(2)  in the county in which the victim resides, 
regardless of whether the alleged violator has resided, worked, or 
done business in the county in which the victim resides.
