Amend SB 611 in SECTION 1 of the bill by striking proposed 
Section 35.58(a), Business & Commerce Code (committee printing page 
1, lines 14-16), and substituting the following:
	(a)  A person may not:                                                  
		(1)  print an individual's social security number on a 
card or other device required to access a product or service 
provided by the person; or
		(2)  print an individual's social security number on 
any materials that are sent by mail unless state or federal law 
requires that the individual's social security number be included 
in the materials.
