Amend SB 894 between Sections 1 and 2 of the bill (house 
committee report, page 2, between lines 23 and 24), by inserting the 
following new section, appropriately numbered, and renumbering the 
subsequent sections accordingly:
	SECTION _____. Section 42.006, Education Code, is amended by 
adding Subsection (d) to read as follows:
	(d) The commissioner's rules must ensure that the Public 
Education Information Management System links student performance 
data to other related information for purposes of efficient and 
effective allocation of scarce school resources.
