Amend CSSB 933 as follows:                                                   
	(1)  In SECTION 3 of the bill, in proposed Section 12.157(c), 
Education Code (committee printing, page 2, line 26), strike "and".
	(2)  In SECTION 3 of the bill, in proposed Section 12.157(c), 
Education Code (committee printing, page 2, line 29), strike the 
period and substitute "; and".
	(3)  In SECTION 3 of the bill, in proposed Section 12.157(c), 
Education Code (committee printing, page 2, between lines 29 and 
30), insert the following:
		(3)  shall, to the extent consistent with rules adopted 
by the commissioner, be reasonably available each school day by 
electronic communication or other means to respond to questions 
from a student, parent, or legal guardian.
