Amend CSSB 1116 (committee printing) as follows:                             
	(1)  In SECTION 4 of the bill, on page 3, in line 1, after the 
word "Class", strike the letter "A", and insert the letter "C".
	(2)  In SECTION 4 of the bill, on page 3, in line 5, after the 
word "a", strike the words "state jail felony" and insert the words 
"Class A misdemeanor".
	(3)  In SECTION 9 of the bill, on page 5, in line 49, after 
the word "or" strike the word "private".
	(4)  In SECTION 9 of the bill, on page 5, beginning on line 
57, strike lines 57 through line 61, and renumber the subsequent 
section of the law appropriately.
	(5)  In SECTION 12 of the bill, on page 6, in line 44, after 
the word "provider;" strike the word "and" and insert "or".
	(6)  On page 6 of the bill, renumber the subsequent section 
of the bill appropriately, and insert a new SECTION 13 of the bill 
to read as follows:

A breach of a service contract between an actor and a communication 
service provider that establish terms and conditions for the 
attachment of a communication device to a communication service 
provider's network, system or facility shall not constitute an 
intent to defraud a communication service provider under this act 
unless the device is being used to obtain a communication service 
for compensation without payment by the actor.
