System updates will be applied on February 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM. These updates will include changes to the user interface. Work is expected to take approximately 30 minutes to complete, during which the site will be unavailable.

	
Amend SB 1272 as follows:                                                    

(1)  In SECTION 3 of the bill, following proposed Section 	382.05198(a)(17), Health and Safety Code (House Committee Printing 
page 4, line 19), strike "and".
	(2)  In SECTION 3 of the bill, in proposed Section 
382.05198(a)(18), Health and Safety Code, between "line" and the 
underlined period (House Committee Printing page 4, line 23), 
insert the following:

; and                                                                  
		(19)  the central baghouse must be located at least 440 
yards from any building used as a single or multifamily residence, 
school, or place of worship at the time the application to use the 
permit is filed with the commission if the plant is located in:
			(A)  an area that is not subject to municipal 
zoning regulations; and
			(B)  a county with a population of at least one 
million
