Amend CSSB 1678 (house committee report) by adding an 
appropriately numbered SECTION to the bill to read as follows and 
renumbering the existing SECTIONS of the bill accordingly:
	SECTION _____. Section 508.032, Government Code, is amended 
by adding Subsection (c) and (d) to read as follows:
	(c) A former employee of the Texas Department of Criminal 
Justice may not serve on the board before the fifth anniversary of 
the date employment with the department terminated.
	(d) Not more than three of the members may be former employees 
of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
