Amend CSSB 1678 in Section 11 of the bill, by striking amended
Section 508.045(b), Government Code (House committee printing,
page 11, lines 14-17), and substituting the following:
(b) The presiding officer [of the board] shall designate the
composition of each panel, and shall designate panels composed of
at least one board member and any combination of board members and
parole commissioners.
