Amend CSSB 1952 by adding the following appropriately 
numbered ARTICLE to PART 1 of the bill and renumbering existing 
ARTICLES in PART 1 appropriately:

ARTICLE ___.  GUBERNATORIAL APPOINTMENTS TO ADVISORY BODIES
	SECTION ___.___.  Subchapter F, Chapter 401, Government Code, 
is amended by adding Section 401.105 to read as follows:
	Sec. 401.105.  NOTICE OF APPOINTMENT TO ADVISORY BODIES.  
Before the governor appoints an individual to serve on an advisory 
board, advisory council, or advisory committee for which senate 
confirmation of the appointment is or is not required, the governor 
must inform the member of the house of representatives in whose 
district the proposed appointee resides of the proposed 
appointment.
