Amend CSSB 1952 by adding the following appropriately 
numbered article to the bill and renumbering the remaining articles 
of the bill as appropriate:

ARTICLE ____.  TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY--CORPUS CHRISTI 

NATURAL RESOURCES CENTER
	SECTION ____.01.  Subchapter E, Chapter 87, Education Code, 
is amended by adding Section 87.403 to read as follows:
	Sec. 87.403.  CARLOS F. TRUAN NATURAL RESOURCES CENTER.  The 
natural resources center located at Texas A&M University--Corpus 
Christi that was dedicated on August 6, 1996, shall be known as the 
Carlos F. Truan Natural Resources Center.  The board shall take 
appropriate action to ensure that the center is identified as 
provided by this section.
