DIGEST AND PURPOSE

Currently, Parker County conducts its dockets for court of record
utilizing the 43rd Judicial District Court and the County Court at Law.
Rapid residential and commercial growth in Parker County argues for
creation of an additional court in that county. As proposed, S.B. 134
would create the 413th Judicial District of Parker County.

This bill does not expressly grant any additional rulemaking authority to
a state officer, institution, or agency.
