H.B. No. 276




AN ACT

relating to the award of attorney's fees and costs in an action 
against a fraudulent transfer.
	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:                        
	SECTION 1.  Chapter 24, Business & Commerce Code, is amended 
by adding Section 24.013 to read as follows:
	Sec. 24.013.  COSTS. In any proceeding under this chapter, 
the court may award costs and reasonable attorney's fees as are 
equitable and just.
	SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2003.
