A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to annual vacation leave accrual for state employees.                
	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:                        
	SECTION 1.   Section 661.152(d), Government Code, is amended 
to read as follows:
	(d)  An employee accrues vacation leave and may carry 
vacation leave forward from one fiscal year to the next in 
accordance with the following schedule:

	SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2003.
