H.B. No. 469
AN ACT
relating to the placement in a juvenile justice alternative
education program of certain students with disabilities.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 37.004(g), Education Code, as added by
Chapter 1225, Acts of the 77th Legislature, Regular Session, 2001,
is amended to read as follows:
(g) Subsections (e) and (f) and this subsection expire
September 1, 2005 [2003].
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
Act takes effect September 1, 2003.
