H.B. No. 1886
AN ACT
relating to the assessment of fees for the regulation of code
enforcement officers.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 1952.052, Occupations Code, is amended
to read as follows:
Sec. 1952.052. FEES. The board shall set [application,
registration, examination, and renewal] fees in amounts that are
reasonable and necessary to cover the cost of administering this
chapter[, not to exceed $50 for each fee].
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2003.
