A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to the study of the feasibility of a universal vaccine 
purchase plan.
	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:                        
	SECTION 1.  (a)  The comptroller of public accounts shall 
study the feasibility of implementing a universal vaccine purchase 
plan and other vaccine delivery alternatives in this state.
	(b)  Not later than October 1, 2004, the comptroller of 
public accounts shall submit a report detailing the study's 
findings to the lieutenant governor and the speaker of the house of 
representatives.
	(c)  This Act expires September 1, 2005.                                       
	SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2003.
