A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to contracting for service delivery for workforce training 
and services.
	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:                        
	SECTION 1.  Section 2308.264, Government Code, is amended by 
adding Subsection (e) to read as follows:
	(e)  A board may not be a party to a contract between one who 
is an independent contractor with the Board and any entity with whom 
that independent contractor contracts said to provide workforce 
training and services.
	SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2003.
