A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to the frequency of meetings of the board for the Upper 
Sabine Valley Solid Waste Management District.
	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:                        
	SECTION 1.  Section 3.07(a), Chapter 734, Acts of the 72nd 
Legislature, Regular Session, 1991 (Article 4477-7k, Vernon's 
Texas Civil Statutes), is amended to read as follows:
	(a)  Except as otherwise provided by law, the [The] board 
shall meet at least one time each quarter [month] and may meet at 
any other time provided by its bylaws.
	SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2003.
