A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to certain probate fees.                                             
	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:                        
	SECTION 1.  Section 118.052(2)(B), Local Government Code, is 
amended by adding Subsection (vii) to read as follows:
				(vii)  Recording a document after the filing 
of an order approving the inventory and appraisement, or after the 
120th day after the date of the initial filing of the action, 
whichever occurs first
	for the first page                         $3.00                        
	for each additional page or part of a page $2.00                        
	SECTION 4.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2003.
