A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to repaying the economic stabilization fund for any 
appropriations made from the fund for the state fiscal year ending 
August 31, 2003; making an appropriation.
	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:                        
	SECTION 1.  An amount equal to the total amount appropriated 
from the economic stabilization fund for any purpose for all or part 
of the state fiscal year ending August 31, 2003, is appropriated, 
for the state fiscal year beginning September 1, 2005, from the 
general revenue fund for transfer to the economic stabilization 
fund. The comptroller shall transfer the amount appropriated by 
this Act to the economic stabilization fund not later than August 
31, 2006.
	SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2003.
