H.B. No. 3303
AN ACT
relating to the validation of certain acts and proceedings of the
City of McAllen.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. (a) All governmental acts and proceedings of
the City of McAllen authorizing the creation of the two boards of
trustees, conveying real property to the United States for
construction of federal facilities relating to toll bridges, and
providing for the management and control of the international
bridge system that includes the Hidalgo-McAllen-Reynosa
International Bridge and the Anzalduas International Crossing, are
validated as of the dates on which they occurred.
(b) This Act does not apply to any matter that, on the
effective date of this Act:
(1) is involved in litigation if the litigation
ultimately results in the matter being held invalid by a final
judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction; or
(2) has been held invalid by a final judgment of a
court of competent jurisdiction.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2003.
