H.C.R. No. 123


HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The Texas Legislature is proud to honor Lori Freeman on being selected as an Outstanding Teacher for 2002-2003 by the Fort Worth Independent School District; and WHEREAS, A teacher at Maude I. Logan Elementary School, this noteworthy individual was honored at the school district's Outstanding Teacher recognition dinner on February 12, 2003, at the Round Up Inn; and WHEREAS, All of the exemplary educators chosen to be honored were selected by their peers for their unparalleled commitment and dedication to students; and WHEREAS, Children are the Lone Star State's most precious resource, and a quality education is vital for our young people to become successful adults; Lori Freeman has demonstrated the drive and determination that we expect from our teachers and is truly deserving of this honor; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the 78th Legislature of the State of Texas hereby congratulate Lori Freeman for being named an Outstanding Teacher for 2002-2003 by the Fort Worth Independent School District and commend her superior service to the children of Texas; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for this esteemed individual as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives and Senate.
