                                                                H.C.R. No. 221



HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
	WHEREAS, September 16, 2002, was indeed a special day in the 
lives of Ray and Kimberly Faust of Austin, for on that day they 
became the proud parents of an adorable baby girl, Konner Mikus 
Faust; and
	WHEREAS, Konner weighed in at 6 pounds, 8 ounces, and 
measured 19.5 inches in length when she made her debut at St. 
David's Hospital, and her arrival has been a source of great pride 
for the family and their friends, and particularly to  her 
grandparents, Don and Pauline Mikus and Bobby and Gay Faust, and to 
her great-grandmother, Winniefred Mikus; and
	WHEREAS, The birth of a child is always a momentous event, and 
it is a privilege to join in celebrating the arrival of Konner Mikus 
Faust and to honor her delighted parents; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the 78th Legislature of the State of Texas 
hereby congratulate Ray and Kimberly Faust on the birth of their 
daughter, Konner Mikus Faust, and extend to them sincere best 
wishes for much happiness in the years to come; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Faust as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives and Senate.
