CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
	WHEREAS, May 1, 2003, was indeed a special day in the lives of 
Brent and Kindra Franklin of Arlington, for on that day they became 
the proud parents of an adorable baby girl, Brenna Kathryn 
Franklin; and
	WHEREAS, Brenna weighed 9 pounds, 8 ounces, and measured 
20.75 inches in length when she made her debut at the Medical Center 
of Arlington at 9:23 a.m., and her arrival has been a source of 
great pride for her parents as well as doting grandparents, Judy 
Willingham, Drew and Pauline Willingham, Fred and Jeanne Cox, and 
Charles and Leslie Franklin; and
	WHEREAS, The birth of a child is always a momentous event, and 
it is a privilege to join in celebrating the arrival of Brenna 
Kathryn Franklin as a new citizen of Texas and to honor her 
delighted parents; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the 78th Legislature of the State of Texas 
hereby congratulate Brent and Kindra Franklin on the birth of their 
daughter, Brenna Kathryn Franklin, and extend to them sincere best 
wishes for much success and happiness in the years to come; and, be 
it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Brenna and for Mr. and Mrs. Franklin as an expression 
of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives and Senate.
