HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
	WHEREAS, the conference committe report for Senate Bill No. 
1108 has been adopted by the senate and the house of representatives 
and is being prepared for enrollment; and
	WHEREAS, The bill contains technical errors that should be 
corrected; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED by the 78th Legislature of the State of Texas, That 
the enrolling clerk of the senate be instructed to correct Senate 
Bill No. 1108 by striking Section 7 of the bill and renumbering the 
sections of the bill appropriately.  The text of the section to be 
stricken reads:
	SECTION 7.  Section 25.081, Education Code, is amended by 
adding Subsection (c) to read as follows:
	(c)  A school may not operate on the Memorial Day holiday.
