HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
	WHEREAS, House Bill No. 3459 has been adopted by the senate 
and the house of representatives and is being prepared for 
enrollment; and
	WHEREAS, The bill contains technical errors that should be 
corrected; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED by the 78th Legislature of the State of Texas, That 
the enrolling clerk of the house be instructed to add the following 
appropriately numbered SECTION to the bill and renumber the 
subsequent SECTIONS accordingly:
	SECTION ___.  Section 466.101, Government Code, is amended 
by adding Subsection (f) to read as follows:
	(f)  In awarding a contract under this chapter or evaluating 
a bid or proposal relating to a contract, the executive director may 
consider a vendor's economic impact to the state or a political 
subdivision of the state.
