R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, January 31, 2003, is indeed a special day in the life
of Kendall Gail Kaiser of Katy, for on that day, she is celebrating
her first birthday; and
WHEREAS, This significant milestone caps off a year of
remarkable change and growth for Kendall, and her parents, Jared
Lee and Rhonda Gail Kaiser, have taken great joy in watching their
daughter discover the many wonders of the world around her; and
WHEREAS, Kendall is also a continuing source of delight to
her proud grandparents, Maynard and Adeline Ripper and David and
Terry Kaiser; and
WHEREAS, This charming young lady enjoys a proud Lone Star
birthright; her maternal ancestors settled in Colorado County when
they arrived from Prussia in 1831 and her great-great-grandfather
at one time held the longest tenure of a justice of the peace in the
county's history; her Texas roots on her father's side of the family
also run deep as the family made landfall in Galveston shortly
before the hurricane of 1900; and
WHEREAS, Blessed with an irresistible smile, a winning
personality, and a rich Texas heritage, Kendall Gail Kaiser is a
welcome addition to the state's citizenry, and it is a pleasure to
join in commemorating this noteworthy event in her life; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Kendall Gail Kaiser on the joyous
occasion of her first birthday and extend to her sincere best wishes
for success and happiness in the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Kaiser as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
