R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Ann Gibson of Keller has received a Lifetime 
Achievement Award from the Greater Keller Chamber of Commerce for 
her exemplary commitment to her community; and
	WHEREAS, A veteran of 50 years in the insurance industry, 
this notable Texan has worked in Keller for four decades and is 
president of Ann Gibson Insurance Agency, Inc.;  deeply committed 
to preserving the city's historic architecture, she has located her 
office in the town's earliest commercial structure, a former bank 
erected in 1906, and makes her home in a residence built in 1898; 
and
	WHEREAS, Ms. Gibson is a founder of the chamber of commerce 
and a lifetime member of the PTA; in addition to the instrumental 
role she played in obtaining a bank for the city, she has funded 
scholarships for Keller High School students, rendered valued 
assistance to Keller Incorporated and the initial Old Town 
committee, and sponsored the first Miss Keller contest; and
	WHEREAS, Known for her knowledge of college and professional 
football and basketball, she is also respected for her keen 
political insight; and
	WHEREAS, Ann Gibson's outstanding leadership and untiring 
devotion to the community of Keller have truly enhanced the lives of 
her neighbors and fellow citizens, and she has long served as an 
inspiration to all those who have been privileged to know her; now, 
therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby commend Ann Gibson on being named the recipient 
of a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Greater Keller Chamber of 
Commerce and extend to her warmest best wishes for continued 
success and happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Ms. Gibson as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
