R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is pleased to 
recognize the Hebron High School cheerleaders, who won first place 
in their division at the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) 
championship competition; and
	WHEREAS, This talented group of students competed against 245 
squads from 22 states to become NCA national champions, earning 
acclaim for themselves and for Hebron High School; and
	WHEREAS, The squad, organized only four years ago, was 
selected to compete at the national meet after delivering a 
spectacular performance at summer training camp; the team was named 
NCA Grand Champion and was recognized with two spirit awards during 
the camp; and
	WHEREAS, Under the superior leadership of coaches Jenna 
Baker, Tracey Jackson, Dave Cone, and Shannon Duffy, the 28-member 
team trained vigorously throughout the fall to prepare for this 
significant competition; and
	WHEREAS, The Hebron cheerleaders have displayed outstanding 
talent, dedication, and sportsmanship, showcasing to the nation the 
exceptional abilities of hardworking Texas youth; now, therefore, 
be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate the Hebron High School 
cheerleaders and extend to them sincere best wishes for continued 
success; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the squad as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
