R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Carrie and George Walls of Houston welcomed their 
precious baby girl, Caroline Rachel Walls, into the world on 
February 1, 2002; and
	WHEREAS, Caroline weighed 5 pounds, 5 ounces, and measured 
18-1/2 inches in length when she made her debut at The Woman's 
Hospital of Texas in Houston; and
	WHEREAS, Her arrival has been a source of great pride to the 
family's extensive circle of family and friends, particularly to 
her doting grandparents, Steve and Kay Durden of Raleigh, North 
Carolina, and Sam and Kay Walls of Cleburne, Texas; and
	WHEREAS, Caroline is the first child for Dr. and Mrs. Walls, 
who met while attending Lake Forest University and have been 
married since May 11, 1996; Dr. Walls is employed as a physician 
with ExxonMobil, while Mrs. Walls has left her position as a high 
school Spanish teacher to care for baby Caroline; and
	WHEREAS, The birth of a child is always a momentous event, and 
it is a privilege to join in celebrating the arrival of Caroline 
Rachel Walls and to honor her delighted parents; now, therefore, be 
it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Carrie and George Walls on the 
birth of their daughter, Caroline Rachel Walls, and extend to them 
sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the Walls as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
