R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, On March 10, 2003, Samantha Ringmacher of Irving
will visit the State Capitol to participate in the Honorary Page
Program; and
WHEREAS, This unique program allows young Texans to assist
the staff of the house sergeant's office in performing tasks for
legislators, providing these volunteers with an ideal opportunity
to observe their state government in action; and
WHEREAS, The daughter of proud parents Paul and Sylvia
Ringmacher, Samantha will serve as page from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon,
and this experience will be one she can look back on with pride for
years to come; and
WHEREAS, By taking an active role in the governmental
process, this dedicated young woman serves as an inspiration to her
friends and fellow students, and it is indeed appropriate that she
be recognized at this time; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Samantha Ringmacher for her
participation in the Honorary Page Program and extend to her
sincere best wishes for an enjoyable and rewarding visit to the
State Capitol; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Ringmacher as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
