H.R. No. 437



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Representatives of the Independent Electrical 
Contractors of Texas are visiting the State Capitol on this day, and 
this provides an opportune time to reflect on the organization's 
contributions to the Lone Star State; and
	WHEREAS, A voluntary association of electrical contractors 
and their employees, as well as electrical industry support 
companies, the Independent Electrical Contractors of Texas has been 
a symbol of quality for their industry over the course of more than 
four decades; and
	WHEREAS, The association actively supports the education of 
apprentices, journeymen, and master electricians, with particular 
emphasis on the practice of apprenticeship; in addition, this 
statewide coalition coordinates the efforts of its local chapters 
to promote a unified agenda when addressing issues affecting the 
entire industry; and
	WHEREAS, The Independent Electrical Contractors of Texas 
ably promotes its profession, and the organization truly merits 
special recognition for its notable achievements; now, therefore, 
be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby commend the Independent Electrical Contractors 
of Texas for its notable accomplishments and extend warmest best 
wishes to the members of its delegation on the occasion of their 
visit to the State Capitol; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the Independent Electrical Contractors of Texas as an 
expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
