H.R. No. 461



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, On December 4, 2002, Percy and Lillie O'Quinn of 
Midland celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary, marking another 
memorable milestone in their long and happy union; and
	WHEREAS, Joined in marriage on December 4, 1942, in Daisetta, 
Texas, Mr. O'Quinn and the former Lillie Mae Floyd enjoy a warm and 
fulfilling relationship that is an inspiration to all who know 
them; and
	WHEREAS, The couple take great pride in their family, which 
includes two children, Floyd O'Quinn of California and Michele 
Pitts of Midland, two grandchildren, and three 
great-grandchildren; and
	WHEREAS, For six decades, Mr. and Mrs. O'Quinn have filled 
each other's lives with love, and their marriage has been enriched 
by cherished family memories and many joyful times; now, therefore, 
be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Percy and Lillie O'Quinn on their 
60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for 
the future; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. O'Quinn as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
