R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, William and Linda Reed of Lake Brownwood celebrated 
their 50th wedding anniversary on December 7, 2002, as the guests of 
honor at a memorable reception hosted by their children; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Reed married the former Linda Glasgow on 
December 3, 1952, in Comanche; over the years, they have nurtured a 
strong bond of love, and their marriage has been blessed with three 
children, 10 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren; and
	WHEREAS, For half a century this devoted couple have enjoyed 
an enduring union that has enriched their lives and the lives of 
their family and friends; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate William and Linda Reed on the 
joyous occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to 
them sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Reed as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
