H.R. No. 655
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, On April 17, 2003, Jack and Jessica Robinson will
visit the State Capitol to participate in the Honorary Page
Program; and
WHEREAS, This unique program allows young Texans to assist
the staff of the house sergeant's office in performing tasks for
legislators, providing these volunteers with an ideal opportunity
to observe their state government in action; and
WHEREAS, The children of Nikki Robinson, Jack and Jessica
will serve as pages from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon, and this experience
will be one they can look back on with pride for years to come; and
WHEREAS, By taking an active role in the governmental
process, these dedicated young people serve as an inspiration to
their friends and fellow students, and it is indeed appropriate
that they be recognized at this time; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Jack and Jessica Robinson for their
participation in the Honorary Page Program and extend to them
sincere best wishes for an enjoyable and rewarding visit to the
State Capitol; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the Robinsons as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
