H.R. No. 667
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, On March 8, 2003, Laura Elena Van Wagoner and Andrew
James Morris were united in matrimony at First Presbyterian Church
in Houston to the delight of all who know them; and
WHEREAS, The daughter of John and Judy Van Wagoner, the bride
will graduate from Rice University with a degree in Spanish and
psychology in May of this year; the groom is the son of Malcolm and
Becky Morris, and he will complete his studies at Baylor College of
Medicine in May; and
WHEREAS, This ambitious couple plan to move to North Carolina
this summer, where in addition to enjoying biking and hiking she
will begin her graduate studies in social work at the University of
North Carolina at Asheville and he will start his medical
residency; and
WHEREAS, The marriage of two people is a joyous event that
marks the beginning of a union filled with limitless possibilities,
and it is a privilege to honor Mr. and Mrs. Morris as they embark on
a bright and promising future together; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Laura Elena Van Wagoner and Andrew
James Morris on the occasion of their wedding and extend to them
sincere best wishes for a rich and rewarding marriage; and, be it
further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
