R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, It is indeed a pleasure to honor the Reverend Ronald 
L. Richardson for his 20 years of committed work at First Baptist 
Church of Hurst; and
	WHEREAS, This esteemed clergyman has persevered tirelessly 
in behalf of his faith, and he serves as a worthy role model for the 
members of his congregation; he has been instrumental in enhancing 
the church's physical plant during several major expansion projects 
during his tenure, and his God-given talents as a preacher, 
educator, and administrator bring a richness to the experience of 
worship at the church home that he leads; and
	WHEREAS, Reverend Richardson warmly welcomes those 
individuals in need of his guidance and counsel, and he comforts the 
distressed and aids the needy with the utmost compassion and 
resolve; and
	WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, this man of faith undoubtedly 
derives great inspiration and support from having his devoted wife, 
Carolyn, at his side; and
	WHEREAS, Reverend Richardson has been a blessing in the lives 
of a great many people during his years of dedicated service to his 
church and community, and he remains a steadfast source of strength 
and hope to all who know him; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby honor the Reverend Ronald L. Richardson on the 
occasion of his 20th anniversary at First Baptist Church of Hurst 
and extend to him best wishes for the future; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Reverend Richardson as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
