R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Richard Garcia earned the respect and admiration of 
a great many people during his exemplary tenure as president of the 
Memorial Heights Neighborhood Association of San Antonio; and
	WHEREAS, Under his skilled leadership, the members of the 
neighborhood association worked hard to address the issues and 
concerns that face area residents and, through their efforts, 
helped to build a more unified and informed citizenry; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Garcia led a host of community-building projects 
and regularly took part in numerous worthy national initiatives 
over the course of his service, and the neighborhood is all the 
better for his selfless efforts in its behalf; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby honor Richard Garcia for his outstanding tenure 
as president of the Memorial Heights Neighborhood Association and 
extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in his 
future endeavors; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. Garcia as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
