R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is pleased to honor the Ingram Hills Neighborhood Association for the organization's many significant contributions to the citizens of San Antonio; and WHEREAS, Under the skilled leadership of president Joan Price, the members of this association have greatly advanced the quality of life in the Alamo City; they have worked diligently to address the issues and concerns that face area residents and helped to build a more unified and informed citizenry; and WHEREAS, Since the organization's establishment in 1988, these esteemed Texans have organized a host of community-building projects, including bazaars, Earth Day activities, neighborhood clean-ups, and initiatives against graffiti; in addition, they regularly participate in National Night Out and Cellular on Patrol; and WHEREAS, The Ingram Hills Neighborhood Association is helping to make San Antonio a better place in which to live and raise a family, and it is a pleasure to honor this exemplary organization at this time; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas Legislature hereby honor Joan Price and all those associated with the Ingram Hills Neighborhood Association and extend to them sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for the Ingram Hills Neighborhood Association as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
