R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, February 15, 2003, was indeed a special day in the 
lives of Phillip and Julie Ann Dautrich of Katy, for on that day 
they became the proud parents of an adorable baby boy, Kason Lane 
Dautrich; and
	WHEREAS, Kason weighed in at 7 pounds, 10 ounces, and 
measured 19 inches in length when he was born at Memorial Hermann 
Katy Hospital; his long-awaited arrival has been a source of great 
pride for his family and their friends, including his older 
siblings, Kalin Paige and Kaleb Bryant, and his grandparents, Mr. 
and Mrs. Phillip Dautrich, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Jordan, and Dina 
Jordan; and
	WHEREAS, Despite his tender age, Kason has already helped to 
commemorate a special occasion in the life of the community, having 
taken part in the Second Baptist West dedication ceremony; and
	WHEREAS, The birth of a child is always a momentous event, and 
it is a privilege to join in celebrating the arrival of this 
fifth-generation citizen of Katy, Kason Lane Dautrich, and to honor 
his delighted parents; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Phillip and Julie Ann Dautrich on 
the birth of their son, Kason Lane Dautrich, and extend to them 
sincere best wishes for much happiness in the years to come; and, be 
it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the Dautrichs as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
