H.R. No. 1109



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Jared Hargrave of Kilgore has been named boys' 
soccer player of the year by the Kilgore News Herald; and
	WHEREAS, The son of proud parents Kerry and Gail Hargrave, 
Mr. Hargrave is a senior on the Kilgore High School soccer team who 
has provided a stellar offense for the Bulldogs this year, tallying 
20 regular season goals and 17 assists; and
	WHEREAS, This talented forward has been an inspirational 
leader to his team all season; under the guidance of head coach 
Whitney Keeling and assistant coach Jody Sanders, he and his 
teammates capped off the best soccer season in Kilgore High School 
history by winning the District 16-4A Championship and reaching the 
Class 4A Region II semifinals; and
	WHEREAS, Though often double- and triple-teamed in soccer 
matches, Mr. Hargrave has consistently demonstrated relentless 
determination and considerable skill against the competition, and 
he is a source of tremendous pride to his team, to his school, and to 
the Kilgore community; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Jared Hargrave on his selection as 
boys' soccer player of the year by the Kilgore News Herald and 
extend to him sincere wishes for success and happiness in the 
future; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. Hargrave as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
