H.R. No. 1138



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Edwin "Bud" and Mavis Flukinger of Waller have 
reached a milestone in their lives together with the celebration of 
their golden wedding anniversary on April 26, 2003; and
	WHEREAS, United in matrimony on May 1, 1953, at the Waller 
Baptist Church, Mr. and Mrs. Flukinger have been blessed with a 
loving and supportive family; throughout the years, they have 
filled each other's lives with many happy times and cherished 
family memories; and
	WHEREAS, This devoted couple have nurtured a strong bond of 
love for half a century, and their enduring union is truly an 
inspiration to all who know them; at this time, it is a privilege to 
honor them for all they have accomplished in their life together; 
now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Bud and Mavis Flukinger on the 
joyous occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to 
them warmest best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it 
further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Flukinger as an expression of high regard 
by the Texas House of Representatives.
