R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to 
congratulate Victoria Elena Pena Spoon on obtaining her master of 
science degree in speech-language pathology from The University of 
Texas at El Paso on May 10, 2003; and
	WHEREAS, A dedicated student, Ms. Spoon has shown initiative, 
leadership, and a determination to succeed during her collegiate 
career; as she dons her cap and gown to receive her master's degree, 
she can take great pride in her notable scholastic achievement; and
	WHEREAS, Ms. Spoon is an impressive woman who has 
demonstrated exemplary commitment in attaining her advanced 
degree; her energy, enthusiasm, and perseverance typify the finest 
qualities of Texans, and she is most deserving of our highest praise 
for her outstanding accomplishment; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Victoria Elena Pena Spoon on 
earning her master's degree from The University of Texas at El Paso 
and extend to her sincere best wishes for success and fulfillment in 
the years to come; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Ms. Spoon as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
