H.R. No. 1155



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Lucia McGuire of Red Sands Elementary School has 
been named Teacher of the Year in elementary education for 
2002-2003 by the Clint Independent School District; and
	WHEREAS, An educator with the Clint ISD for 14 years, Ms. 
McGuire has worked the past four years as a counselor at Red Sands 
Elementary School; dedicated to her young charges, Ms. McGuire 
motivates her students to strive to do their best, preparing them 
for a bright and successful future; and
	WHEREAS, Ms. McGuire exemplifies the highest ideals of her 
noble profession, and she has been a positive force in the lives of 
countless young people; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature hereby congratulate Lucia McGuire on being named 
Teacher of the Year in elementary education for 2002-2003 by the  
Clint Independent School District and extend to her warmest best 
wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Ms. McGuire as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
